Description

Are you looking for a fly reel with an unusual design but still want the usual high quality and functionality of Vosseler products? Then the Tryst fly reel is just right for you! It combines functionality, aesthetics and utility.

Whether you are a fan of trout fishing on the river or prefer light coastal fishing in the far north, the Tryst fly reel covers the entire spectrum of single-handed rods.

The design of the large arbor spool and the minimalist Y-shaped frame make this reel a lightweight in its class. The flower-shaped milled pockets on the spool ensure good line ventilation and the concave spool bottom allows for plenty of backing and flying line! The crank handle is fitted with a double rubber ring close to the spool, which serves to secure the leader tip.

Of course, this fly reel also has the right drag system in the form of a powerful but finely adjustable disk drag. With just 1 ¼ turns, the brake can be set from "free" to "very powerful" and, when closed, offers just under 3 kilos of braking force to stand up to any fish, no matter how bad-tempered.

If required, the brake can also be applied by hand using the overlapping spool edge.

Two lateral bars on the reel frame engage deeply and cleanly in the opposite groove of the spool and reliably prevent line or leader from slipping between the frame and spool, even during hard drills.

Even at high trigger speeds, the spool runs smoothly on the center axle system.

It was not for nothing that this reel won the "Best New Fly Reel" award at Efftex in 2011 and it has not lost its quality to this day. See for yourself!
