Since 1992, our service company has been producing turned and milled parts for demanding industrial companies attaching great importance to quality and reliability. In addition to that, we started manufacturing exceptional first-class Fly Reels in 1993 using our optimized machinery.
We benefit from our extensive experience collected through our own manufacture. From the first design draft to the programming of our CNC-controlled machine-tools, from production and material refinement to final assembly - all steps of production are carried out in our factory and on our own machines.
Throughout the world, we are supplying enthusiastic fly fishermen with genuine “Made in Germany” products.
In doing so, we set value on the entire production process being subject to continuous quality assurance.
We favor short distances within the manufacturing process and thus are completely independent of the reliability of other suppliers. This close surveillance of each manufacturing step is extremely complex however we look at it as being a prerequisite to produce high-quality products. Due to our quality standards demanding fishermen acknowledge our reels as reliable companions, all over the world.

Precision is irreplaceable - unless it can be replaced by even higher precision. This is not an empty phrase, this is our daily way of working and our self-conception. Our manageable and optimized machinery allows us to use it flexibly and with exactly the capacity utilization we need at each time.
Your new reel runs through several steps of production: The dressing of the semi-finished product is done by means of a separate crosscut saw. The machined part is fed into a turning lathe, or milling machine respectively, automatically or semi-automatically. Next a computer-controlled unit carries out the complete chipping procedure.
Finer and finer precision tools work towards the defined tolerance limit of the final product. The chucked solid material as well as the tooling equipment we use are the best you can think of for this technology. Body housings, reel cages, spools, axes, handles, feet etc. are designed and produced in our own manufacturing plant.
We are aware of how significant it is to have the assembly carried out professionally. Therefore we make sure to complete the entire production process in our own workshops. Only the technically complex surface finishing by anodizing is performed by a specialized and well-known company nearby.
After this treatment, the last manufacturing step is the laser engraving which in turn is carried out at our own premises again.
Your new reel is made of a highly clean aluminum alloy which is primarily used in aerospace technology.
Its great advantages are the material’s structural homogeneity and the lack of lead additives which would otherwise not leave the material resistant to corrosion.
A semi-finished reel part is ready to be fed into the turning lathe or milling machine. Precision starts here already. Only properly prepared parts find their way into the lathe chuck.
Only 30 percent of the blank part remains to form the final reel. Turning and milling chips of this valuable material are carefully collected and recycled.
Working with appropriate machining equipment is not enough. Our processing station is equipped with control programs that are adapted to the special needs of the material.
Experience is irreplaceable. All of our employees have a deep understanding for each individual step of production. This is what we call "really understanding precision".
